Vision Three designs, builds and installs custom wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, TV units, joinery, doors and fitted furniture for homes and businesses across Dubai. Every piece is made in our own workshop and fitted by our own team — not subcontracted out and re-badged.

Carpentry Services Dubai
“Carpentry” and “joinery” get used interchangeably across Dubai, but they describe two different skills. Carpentry is site-based woodwork — fixing, fitting and repairing timber elements in place. Joinery is precision, factory-made cabinetry and woodwork — wardrobes, kitchens, doors and fitted furniture built off-site to exact measurements, then installed. Vision Three does both, in-house, which is why we can take a project from first sketch to final fit without handing any part of it to a third party.
Most carpentry companies in Dubai fall into one of two camps: a design-and-build joinery workshop that subcontracts installation, or an installation crew that subcontracts fabrication to whichever workshop is cheapest that month. Either way, if something doesn’t fit or a finish doesn’t match, you’re stuck between two companies pointing at each other. We run our own workshop and our own installation team under one roof, so the person who designed your wardrobe is accountable for how it actually hangs on the wall.
This page is the hub for every carpentry and joinery service we offer. Below, you’ll find dedicated pages for each specific type of work — custom wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, TV units, office joinery and more — each covering that service in real depth: materials, process, pricing and the mistakes worth avoiding. Use this page to see the full range and understand how we work, then go to the specific page that matches what you need for the detail relevant to that project.
As a licensed technical services contractor rather than a standalone joinery shop, carpentry at Vision Three also connects directly to renovation and fit-out work. If a wardrobe project turns up a wider issue — a wall that needs moving, electrics behind a planned cabinet run, a floor that isn’t level enough for a built-in run — the same company scopes and handles it, instead of you coordinating between separate contractors and hoping the handover between them goes smoothly.
Every piece is designed, cut and finished in our own workshop, then fitted by our own installation team — full accountability from drawing to handover.
Custom-built cabinetry and on-site woodwork repair, under one contractor, rather than two separate trades to coordinate.
Villas, apartments, offices, retail and hospitality projects, scaled to the size of the job.
Backed by the same company that runs full renovations and fit-outs, so carpentry projects connect cleanly to wider works when needed.

No subcontracted joinery re-badged as ours. What we design is what we cut, finish and install.
If a project needs more than carpentry, the same licensed contractor scopes and delivers it.
Board type, hardware brand and finish specified clearly in every quote, not left vague.
From a single wardrobe to a full office fit-out, scaled and scheduled appropriately.
Local Context
Dubai’s climate and housing stock shape carpentry decisions in ways that don’t apply everywhere. Handover apartments and villas are built with standard, cost-driven joinery — sound boxes with a builder-grade finish that rarely matches how residents actually want to live in the space. Custom carpentry is less about luxury and more about correcting that mismatch: a wardrobe sized for the room instead of a generic module, storage that reflects how a family actually uses a kitchen, a TV wall built around the exact unit and cable routing you have.
Heat and humidity matter more here than in most markets. Board and veneer that would be fine in a temperate climate can warp, delaminate or gap at the joints in a hot villa storeroom or a poorly ventilated bathroom. We specify board type and edge sealing by where a piece is actually going, not a single default across every job — a bathroom vanity gets different treatment to a bedroom wardrobe, and that distinction is covered in depth on each specific service page.
The rental market also shapes demand. Landlords preparing a unit for a new tenancy often want targeted carpentry upgrades — a wardrobe replaced, a kitchen refreshed — rather than a full renovation, since the return has to justify itself against a relatively short holding period. We price and schedule single-item carpentry work specifically with that in mind, rather than only quoting whole-project fit-outs.
Custom Carpentry Suits You When
Materials
Material choice is confirmed in writing on every quote — never left as a vague “quality materials” promise.
The standard for most fitted cabinetry — cost-effective, stable and available in a wide range of factory finishes.
Specified where strength and screw-holding matter more than cost, such as load-bearing shelving and cabinet carcasses.
Used for feature pieces and finishes where a real wood grain and tactile quality is the point.
Hinges, runners and soft-close mechanisms specified by brand and grade, not left as an unnamed generic fitting.
Exact board and hardware specification is confirmed per project and stated on your written quote before fabrication begins.
Our Process
The same process whether it’s one piece or a full-home fit-out.
We measure the actual space and discuss layout, storage needs and finish preferences on site, not from a floor plan alone.
Drawings and material samples shared before anything is cut, so there are no surprises at fitting stage.
Every piece is cut, assembled and finished in our own workshop to the agreed specification.
Fitted on site by our own installation team, checked for alignment and function before handover.
Is Custom Right For You?
These are the recurring reasons clients move from off-the-shelf furniture to a custom-built solution.
Sloped ceilings, alcoves and irregular corners that standard flat-pack furniture simply can’t fill without leaving dead space.
Generic wardrobe modules that don’t reflect how much hanging space, drawers or shoe storage you actually need.
A specific colour, wood grain or hardware finish that no retail furniture range currently stocks.
Cheap board swelling or delaminating in a humid bathroom or poorly ventilated store room.
Reception counters and office furniture that need to match a brand identity and survive daily commercial use.
Multiple rooms being fitted at once, where consistency of finish across the whole project actually matters.
Investment
Carpentry and joinery pricing varies more than almost any other trade on this site, because a single wardrobe door and a full office fit-out are both “carpentry” and cost nothing alike. Rather than quote a single misleading number here, this page explains what actually drives the cost — each specific service page then gives real price ranges for that type of work.
Material. MDF and melamine cost significantly less than plywood, veneer or solid timber. Most projects mix materials — structural plywood carcasses with a veneer or laminate finish face, for example — so the split between them matters more than any single material’s price alone.
Complexity. A flat-fronted, straight-run cabinet costs less per linear metre than a curved unit, an internal lighting system, or joinery that has to work around existing services like plumbing or electrical points.
Hardware. Basic hinges and runners cost a fraction of branded soft-close mechanisms and premium sliding systems. This is one of the most common places a “too good to be true” quote is cutting a corner you won’t notice until the hardware fails.
Scale. A single piece costs more per unit than a full-room or full-home project, since design and workshop setup costs are spread across more output on a larger job.

Compare Your Options
Three ways to furnish or fit out a space in Dubai, each suited to a different situation.
| Custom In-House Carpentry | Ready-Made Furniture | Imported Joinery | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fits your exact space | Yes, made to measure | No, standard sizes only | Yes, but designed remotely |
| Lead time | 1–5 weeks typical | Days, if in stock | 6–12+ weeks with shipping |
| Finish and hardware choice | Fully specified by you | Fixed, limited options | Wide range, harder to sample first |
| Accountability if something’s wrong | Same contractor, design to install | Retailer return policy only | Split between supplier and installer |
| Cost | Mid to premium, material-dependent | Lowest | Often highest once shipping and duties included |
| Suits climate-specific needs | Yes, specified for Dubai conditions | Rarely, generic specification | Depends on origin factory’s standard |
| Best suited to | Awkward spaces, specific needs, long-term use | Temporary, budget-first furnishing | Large-scale projects with long lead time available |

If your timeline is tight and standard sizing works for the space, ready-made furniture is a legitimate choice — custom carpentry earns its cost when the space, finish or durability genuinely needs it.
Get It Right First Time
Most carpentry disputes we hear about from new clients trace back to a small number of avoidable gaps in how the project was scoped, not poor workmanship after the fact.
No written material and hardware specification. “Quality materials” and “premium finish” in a quote mean nothing without a named board type and hardware brand. Get it in writing before work starts.
Design and installation split across two companies. When the workshop and the installer are different businesses, a poor fit or a finish mismatch becomes a dispute about whose fault it was rather than a quick fix.
No site measure before quoting. A quote based on a floor plan or verbal description, without an actual site visit, is a guess. Walls are rarely perfectly square, and a wardrobe built to plan-perfect dimensions can arrive too large or leave a visible gap.
Ignoring climate suitability. Board and hardware specified for a temperate market can fail fast in a humid Dubai bathroom or an uninsulated storeroom. Ask specifically whether the specification accounts for where the piece is going.
No clarity on what happens if something needs adjusting after fitting. Doors settle, hinges need adjusting, drawers can bind slightly after the first few weeks of use. Confirm what’s included in aftercare before you sign off.
Ask Every Quote These Six Questions
Aftercare
Well-specified carpentry needs little upkeep, but three habits protect the investment long-term.
Keep extractor fans running in bathrooms and avoid leaving storerooms sealed shut for long periods, since trapped humidity is the leading cause of board swelling in Dubai.
A door that’s started to sag slightly is a five-minute hinge adjustment if caught early, and a bigger repair if left to bind and stress the frame over months.
Warm water and a soft cloth for most finishes. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents on painted or laminate surfaces, which dull the finish faster than normal wear.

Questions
Carpentry typically refers to site-based woodwork, such as fitting, fixing and repairing timber elements in place. Joinery refers to precision, factory-made wooden elements, such as cabinets, wardrobes and doors, built off-site to exact measurements and then installed. Vision Three provides both under one contractor.
We have our own in-house workshop where every custom piece is designed, cut and finished, and our own installation team fits it on site. Work is not subcontracted out to a third-party joinery shop and re-badged.
We offer custom joinery, wardrobes, walk-in closets, built-in and storage cabinets, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, TV units and media walls, wall paneling, custom furniture, shelving and display units, wooden doors, office carpentry, reception counters, and general carpentry repairs and maintenance.
Yes. We handle apartments and villas as well as offices, retail units and hospitality spaces, scaling the team and schedule to the size of the project.
Timelines vary by scope: a single wardrobe or cabinet run typically takes one to two weeks from measure to install, while larger multi-room fit-outs are scheduled in phases over three to five weeks or more. Each service page has more specific timelines for that type of work.
Yes. As a licensed technical services contractor, we can scope carpentry alongside wider renovation, electrical or structural work under one project, rather than requiring a separate contractor for each trade.
Yes, we offer a free site visit to measure the space and confirm scope before providing a fixed quote for any carpentry or joinery project. We do not quote from photos or a floor plan alone for anything beyond an indicative bracket.
Material choice depends on the piece and its use — MDF, plywood, veneer and solid timber are all specified case by case, with the material and hardware brand confirmed in writing as part of every quote, chosen to suit Dubai’s heat and humidity.
Cost depends heavily on material, complexity, hardware and scale, so a single figure for all carpentry work would be misleading. Each specific service page (wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, TV units and so on) gives a real price range for that type of project, or send photos and rough dimensions on WhatsApp for an indicative bracket.
It depends on the situation. Ready-made furniture is faster and cheaper for standard-sized spaces on a tight budget. Custom carpentry earns its cost when the room is an awkward shape, storage needs are specific, or the piece needs to survive Dubai’s climate and daily commercial use better than a generic import.
Doors and drawers can settle slightly in the first few weeks of use, which is normal. Because the same team designs, builds and installs every piece, adjustment requests go to one contractor who already knows the project, rather than being split between a workshop and a separate installer.
Whether it’s one wardrobe or a full office fit-out, send us a few details and photos of the space and we’ll arrange a free site visit to scope it properly.
