OVERVIEW
Vision Three designs, supplies and installs shower glass enclosures in Dubai for villas, apartments, hotels and offices. Every panel is toughened safety glass, cut to your exact opening after the tiles are finished, and fitted with stainless hardware chosen for Dubai’s humidity. From a single fixed walk-in screen in a JVC studio to a full-height frameless enclosure in an Emirates Hills master suite, one team measures, quotes and installs the work.
Here is what most glass suppliers won’t tell you: a shower screen is only as good as the bathroom it stands in. If the floor doesn’t fall towards the drain, if a wall is 6mm out of plumb, or if the waterproofing membrane stops short of the screen line, even 12mm low-iron glass will leak, drag or stress its hinges. We have been renovating Dubai bathrooms since 2008, so we check, and fix, those things before any glass is ordered.
That is the difference between a shower glass partition that looks good on handover day and a bathroom glass enclosure that is still sealed, square and easy to clean five years later. Whether you need a new frameless shower door, a sliding shower enclosure for a compact apartment bathroom, a glass bathtub screen, or a repair to a leaking unit, this page covers the options, the real costs in AED, and exactly how we deliver the work. If you are planning a full refit, our bathroom renovation team can take care of the room and the glass under one quote.
We check floor falls, wall plumb and waterproofing before measuring, so the glass sits on a bathroom that is ready for it.
8, 10 and 12mm tempered panels, each carrying a visible safety mark. Every hole and notch is drilled before toughening, never after.
SS304 stainless steel as standard, and marine-grade SS316 for Palm, Marina and beachfront homes where salt air attacks lesser fittings.
Survey, fabrication, installation and silicone sealing on a single itemised quotation, with no extras added on the day.
WHAT WE INSTALL
Six enclosure types cover almost every bathroom we see in Dubai. Each one solves a different problem, from saving floor space to creating a showpiece master suite. Choose the one that matches your bathroom and open its dedicated guide for sizes, prices and installation details.
Fixed toughened glass panels that separate the wet zone from the dry bathroom, from half-height bathtub screens to full-height panels. Clean, simple and quick to fit.
10–12mm glass held by hinges and clamps only, with no perimeter frame. The cleanest look available and the easiest to keep spotless; the standard for villa master bathrooms.
Hinged, pivot and bi-fold glass doors for showers with room to open, on wall-mounted or glass-to-glass hinges, with a wide and comfortable entry.
Panels that glide on a top rail, so the door needs no swing space at all. The practical answer for compact apartment bathrooms in JLT, JVC, Business Bay and Dubai Marina.
A single fixed panel, typically 900mm to 1,400mm wide, with no door. Ideal for wet rooms, open-plan en-suites and anyone who wants the least possible to clean.
Corner, quadrant, U-shaped and neo-angle layouts, plus full-height glass to the ceiling and steam-room enclosures. Built for bathrooms that off-the-shelf kits don’t fit.
Fitting LED, demister and vanity mirrors during the same visit keeps the bathroom to one team, one schedule and one finish. Ask us to price the mirror together with the glass.

Glass-only companies measure whatever opening they find. We assess floor falls, wall plumb and waterproofing first, and correct them in-house through our tile fixing and MEP teams when needed.
Final measurements are taken on finished surfaces with a laser level, to within 1mm. Ordering glass off drawings is the most common reason enclosures arrive and don’t fit.
We use neutral-cure, anti-fungal sanitary silicone as standard. Acetoxy silicone, the cheap vinegar-smelling kind, can stain marble and natural stone, so it never goes near a stone bathroom.
For apartments and towers, we prepare the contractor work-permit or NOC paperwork building management asks for, and we work within permitted hours.
Floor protection, dust control and full removal of the old enclosure and packaging. Your bathroom is left ready to use as soon as the silicone cures.
Glass type, thickness, hardware finish, coating and installation are each listed separately, so you can compare quotes like for like.
HOW IT WORKS
We visit, check the opening with a laser level, test the floor fall towards the drain, and confirm the walls can carry the glass. You get honest advice on which enclosure type suits the space.
You choose the layout, glass thickness, clear or low-iron glass, coating and hardware finish. We send an itemised written quotation, usually within 24 hours of the survey.
Once tiles and grout are complete, we take final measurements. Panels are cut, edges polished, holes and notches drilled, then toughened. Fabrication typically takes 5–10 working days.
Our installers fix the channels, hinges or rails, set every panel plumb and level, and adjust doors so they close cleanly. Most enclosures are fitted in a single half-day or full-day visit.
Joints are sealed with sanitary silicone and left to cure for 24 hours. We water-test the enclosure, check the door swing, and walk you through the cleaning routine.
GLASS, HARDWARE & FINISHES
The glass you choose decides how the enclosure looks, how solid the door feels in your hand, and how much hardware it needs to stand. This is how we specify it. For the full frameless specification, see our frameless shower glass guide.
Framed and sliding enclosures, bathtub screens and smaller fixed panels. Strong, lighter to handle and cost-efficient.
Our default for frameless doors and walk-in screens. Rigid enough to stand with minimal hardware, with a reassuringly solid feel.
Large spans, panels over about 2.2m tall and full-height glass to the ceiling. Reserved for showpiece villa bathrooms.
Standard glass shows a green tint along its edges. Low-iron glass removes it, so white marble and pale tiles read true. It typically adds 20–30% to the glass cost.
Acid-etched or sandblasted glass for privacy, fluted (reeded) glass for texture, or bronze and grey tints that suit darker stone and joinery.
A factory-applied hydrophobic coating that makes water bead and run off, sharply reducing mineral spotting. We recommend it on every enclosure.
Hinges, clamps, handles and rails come in polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, brushed gold and gunmetal, matched to your taps and mixer. We specify SS304 stainless steel as standard and SS316 marine grade for coastal homes on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, JBR, Emaar Beachfront and Bluewaters Island, where salt-laden air can pit lower-grade fittings within a couple of years. Where the budget allows, we use hardware from established manufacturers such as dormakaba and Häfele.
WHERE WE WORK
Frameless master-suite enclosures, double-shower layouts, full-height glass and steam-room doors in Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills Estate and Emirates Hills. Often part of a wider villa renovation.
Sliding enclosures and walk-in screens engineered around tight footprints and building-management rules in Downtown, JLT, Business Bay and JVC. See our apartment renovation work.
Repeatable enclosure specifications across dozens of rooms, hard-wearing hardware and fast turnarounds that keep rooms out of inventory for the shortest possible time.
Washroom and changing-room shower glass that stands up to heavy daily use, frequent cleaning and constant humidity.
PROBLEMS WE SOLVE
Usually a worn bottom seal or a floor that falls the wrong way. We replace seals and, where needed, add a discreet glass deflector or correct the fall.
Hinges loosen as a heavy door opens and closes thousands of times. We re-set, tighten or replace the hinges and re-align the door.
Old silicone that was never anti-fungal grade. We cut it out completely, clean and dry the joint, then re-seal with sanitary silicone.
Mineral deposits bonded to uncoated glass. Specialist cleaning recovers mild cases, and we can apply an after-market protective coating.
Worn rollers or grit in the rail. We replace the rollers, clean the track and re-align the door.
Toughened glass can’t be cut or re-drilled once damaged, so we template, re-fabricate and replace the single panel.
COST GUIDE 2026
Supplied and installed, shower glass enclosures in Dubai typically cost from AED 950 for a simple bathtub screen to AED 9,500 or more for a full-height frameless corner enclosure in low-iron glass. Most of our apartment and villa projects land between AED 2,500 and AED 5,500.
Five things drive the price: the total glass area in square metres, the glass thickness, clear versus low-iron or decorative glass, the number of hinges, clamps and cut-outs, and the hardware finish. Matte black and brushed gold fittings cost more than polished chrome, and SS316 costs more than SS304.
Our quotes include the survey, fabrication, delivery, installation, silicone sealing and removal of packaging. Taking out an existing enclosure is quoted separately, typically AED 150–350.

COMPARE
What is the difference between frameless and framed shower glass? A frameless enclosure uses 10–12mm glass held by hinges and clamps alone, while a framed enclosure uses thinner 6–8mm glass supported by an aluminium frame on every edge. Frameless looks cleaner and is easier to keep clean; framed costs less and tolerates out-of-square walls better. Compare the detail on our frameless, sliding and walk-in pages.
| Feature | Frameless hinged | Sliding enclosure | Walk-in screen | Framed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Glass thickness | 10–12mm | 8–10mm | 10–12mm | 6–8mm |
| Look | Minimal, almost all glass | Clean, with a top rail | Single open panel | Visible aluminium frame |
| Space needed | About 600mm door swing | None, door slides | None, no door | Depends on door type |
| Cleaning | Easiest | Rail needs regular cleaning | Very easy | Frame channels trap grime |
| Water containment | Excellent with seals | Excellent | Good, needs a 1,200mm+ shower zone | Excellent |
| Best for | Villa master suites | Compact apartment bathrooms | Wet rooms, large en-suites | Rentals, budget upgrades |
| Indicative price (AED) | 3,200–5,500 | 2,200–3,800 | 1,800–3,000 | 1,200–2,200 |

AVOID COSTLY ERRORS
1. Measuring before the tiles go on. A 10mm tile on 5mm of adhesive narrows the opening by 30mm across two walls. Glass ordered from drawings, or before tiling, almost never fits.
2. Ignoring the floor fall. If the shower floor doesn’t fall towards the drain at roughly 1:50 to 1:80, water pools against the glass and finds its way under the seals.
3. Fixing heavy glass to weak walls. 10mm glass weighs about 25kg per square metre. Hinges screwed into gypsum board or hollow block without proper backing can pull loose within months.
4. Choosing a hinged door in a small bathroom. If the door can’t swing a full 90 degrees without hitting the vanity or WC, a sliding door or walk-in screen is the better answer.
5. Skipping the easy-clean coating. Saving a few hundred dirhams leaves uncoated glass that collects mineral deposits, which can become permanent within a year or two.
6. Trying to drill or trim after toughening. Toughened glass can’t be cut, drilled or notched once tempered; it shatters. Every cut-out has to be planned before fabrication.

AFTERCARE
Ten seconds with a squeegee removes water before minerals dry on the glass. It is the single most effective habit.
A microfibre cloth and a pH-neutral glass cleaner are all you need. Scouring pads, powder cleaners and strong acids scratch glass and strip coatings.
Run the extractor fan during your shower and for 20 minutes afterwards. Lower humidity means less mould in the silicone joints.
Bottom sweeps and side seals harden in Dubai’s heat. Replacements are inexpensive and stop a small drip from becoming water damage.
Hair and grit in the rail wear rollers out fast. Wipe the track and check the door glides without catching.
Silicone discolours and loses adhesion over time. Our home maintenance and handyman teams can renew it in a single visit.
AREAS WE COVER
We survey, fabricate and install shower glass enclosures in Dubai across every major community, from beachfront apartments to gated villa estates.
FAQS
Supplied and installed, a shower glass enclosure in Dubai typically costs AED 950–3,000 for a bathtub screen or fixed walk-in panel, AED 3,000–5,500 for a 10mm frameless hinged enclosure, and AED 5,500–9,500+ for corner, full-height or low-iron designs. The exact price depends on glass area, thickness and hardware, and follows a free site survey.
10mm toughened glass is the best all-round choice for frameless shower doors and walk-in screens in Dubai. Use 8mm for framed, sliding and bathtub screens, and 12mm for panels taller than about 2.2m or wider than 1.2m that need to stand with minimal hardware.
Frameless shower glass uses 10–12mm panels held only by hinges and clamps, with no metal profile around the glass. Semi-frameless uses slim aluminium profiles on one or two edges with 8–10mm glass, usually costs 20–30% less, and is more forgiving of walls that aren’t perfectly square.
A sliding shower door is usually better for a small bathroom because it needs no swing space. A hinged door needs roughly 600mm of clear floor to open fully, so if a vanity, WC or towel rail sits in that zone, choose a sliding door or a fixed walk-in screen.
Installation itself takes half a day to one day per bathroom. Including the survey, quotation and 5–10 working days of fabrication and toughening, most projects go from first visit to a usable shower in 7–14 days, with 24 hours for the silicone to cure.
Yes. Tempered (toughened) glass is around four to five times stronger than ordinary annealed glass and breaks into small, blunt granules rather than sharp shards. It is the standard safety glazing for showers, and every panel we install carries a visible safety mark.
Yes, if it is protected and cared for. Choose an easy-clean hydrophobic coating, squeegee after each shower and clean weekly with a pH-neutral cleaner. Uncoated glass that is regularly left wet gradually bonds with mineral deposits that can’t be fully removed.
A like-for-like shower glass installation doesn’t usually need a Dubai Municipality permit, but most towers and community managers require a contractor work permit or NOC before work starts. We prepare the paperwork and work within the building’s permitted hours.
Yes, as long as the floor falls towards the drain and the walls can take fixings. We assess both during the survey. If the fall is wrong or the waterproofing has failed, we tell you upfront and correct it with minimal disruption rather than fitting glass that will leak.
Yes. Most leaks are fixed by replacing seals or re-siliconing, and dropped doors by re-setting or replacing the hinges. A cracked toughened panel can’t be repaired, but we can replace that single panel and match the existing hardware in most cases.
Low-iron glass is ultra-clear glass with most of the iron oxide removed, which eliminates the green tint visible on standard glass edges. It is worth it in bathrooms with white marble, pale tiles or 12mm glass, where the green edge is most noticeable, and typically adds 20–30% to the glass cost.
